In addition to candles, we also offer other home and personal fragrance products including fragrance mist, reed diffusers, liquid hand soap, shower gel, shea butter lotion, sugar scrub, wax melt, roll on fragrance, car diffuser, and disinfectant spray. 

  • Trim wick to 1/4″ before each lighting.
  • Allow the melted wax pool to reach the edges of the sides of the jar before extinguishing to prevent wax from building along the sides of the jar and tunneling.
  • Burn your candle between 1 and 4 hours at a time for best results.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended in a drafty area or within reach of pets or children.
  • Allow the wax to cool completely before handling – candle jar will be hot after burning.
  • Do not burn if there are any cracks present in your candle container.

Candles are made using natural soy wax, premium fragrance oils, and organic cotton wicks. This creates a candle that will burn cleaner, longer, and true-to-scent. 

The approximate candle burn time varies between 60 – 200 hours depending on the size of the candle vessel and the number of wicks. 

Yes, we sell gift cards. They can be purchased in our retail store or online. If you previously purchased a Scentcerely Yours gift card, it can only be redeemed in-store. For Inluro gift cards, they can be redeemed in-store or online. 

Yes, you are able to use a Scentcerely Yours gift card at Inluro. You can redeem it in-store for any purchases, or you can call us at 630-730-9302 to redeem it for an online order.

Yes, you can re-use a vessel that you previously purchased from us. Bring the vessel in to the store and we will clean it out for you to re-use. You will receive a discount off of the refill purchase that will be based on the size of the vessel.

We perform extensive testing on all of our vessels to ensure they are candle safe, and that the combination of our ingredients results in a quality, long-lasting candle. For vessels that are not purchased from our store, we will need to perform the same extensive testing before we allow them to be used to make a candle. There is a one-time test burn fee that must be paid prior to beginning testing. If the test burn is successful, you will be allowed to refill your vessel at our shop. If it is not successful, we will return the vessel to you.


Yes, we do offer private parties before or after hours. Private parties are two hours in length. If your party runs longer than two hours, there is an additional charge of $50 for every 30 minutes. Food and beverages are allowed during your private event. There is a minimum spend based on the number of guests committed to one week prior to the event.

The minimum spend amounts are inclusive of all products made, and there is no additional room charge. If you are interested in a time slot that requires us to open or close one hour early, please contact us as an additional fee will apply. A final count of the number of guests is required one week prior to the event. 

A deposit is not required to make a reservation during normal business hours. For private parties, a deposit of $200 is required at the time of booking. If you need to cancel your party, the deposit is refundable if cancelled at least 7 days prior to your event. Cancellations within 7 days of your event are non-refundable, however the deposit can be used toward a re-booking in the future. 

Reservations / In-store experience

Reservations are not required; however, they are encouraged. Walk-ins are accepted; however, reservations take priority. Reservations can be made online under the Reservation tab, or by calling the shop at 630-730-9302. 

Reservations are one hour in length and are made on the hour.  

The cost of the experience depends on the product(s) made. Most of our products range from $20 - $50, although some larger candle vessels may cost more. The cost is inclusive of the product, custom scent, and the entire experience. 

The entire custom scent making experience takes between 45-60 minutes. 

Candles take a minimum of 90 minutes to set after they are poured. Some larger vessels may take longer, while some are not available to pick up until the next day. Our Scent Consultants will inform you when your candles will be ready for pick up. 

There are no age restrictions to enjoy our unique experience. Kids of all ages can choose from a variety of product options, including sand wax. 

Non-alcoholic beverages are allowed in the shop anytime. Food and alcoholic beverages are only allowed during private parties before or after hours. 

Sand wax candles are available on Thursday and Friday.
